Cookie Policy

1. The short version

This site stores almost nothing in your browser. There are no advertising cookies and no cross-site tracking.

2. What we store

Theme preference (localStorage, key "simov-theme"): remembers whether you chose light or dark mode. Essential to honor your choice; kept until you clear your browser data.

Security (Cloudflare): this site runs on Cloudflare, and our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to block spam. Cloudflare may set short-lived, strictly necessary security cookies (such as __cf_bm or cf_clearance) to tell humans from bots. Turnstile does not use cookies to track you across sites.

Analytics (Rybbit): we use a self-hosted instance of Rybbit, a privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics tool. It sets no cookies, stores no personal identifiers in your browser, does not record IP addresses, and does not track you across other websites. We use it only to understand which pages help visitors. We do not use Google Ads or Meta pixels.

Embedded video: pages with an embedded testimonial video (e.g. YouTube) may set third-party cookies when you press play. We use privacy-enhanced embeds where available.

3. Managing cookies

You can clear or block storage in your browser settings at any time. Blocking the theme key simply means the site won't remember your mode choice.
